Getting There

How do I get to Langkawi?

Fly into Langkawi International Airport. From Penang or Kedah, ferries are also an option.

When should I arrive?

We'd recommend staying 3–4 days. Here's a rough guide:

  • 29 Jan — Best arrival day for exploring (especially overseas guests)
  • 30 Jan by 12pm — If arriving on the day itself

How do I get around?

There's no public transport on the island. Grab works well for short trips. Renting a car is great if you want to explore at your own pace.

The Wedding

Can I bring a +1?

Check your invite — if you're unsure, just ask us.

Are kids welcome?

Yes! Just let us know in your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Indoor or outdoor?

The tea ceremony will be indoors. The ceremony and dinner will be outdoors by the sea (weather permitting).

What shoes should I wear?

Skip the stilettos — there will be grass and sand. Wedges, block heels, or sandals are your best bet.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes — there's a buggy service to get you around the resort.

Can I take photos?

Yes! We just ask that you hold off during the ceremony itself as we want you to be fully with us. We'll share an upload link after so everyone can share their shots.

What about gifts?

Your presence is the greatest gift. There will be a registry at the reception for those who wish to contribute.

Dietary requirements?

Please note these in the RSVP form and we'll make sure you're looked after.

Practical Info

What's the weather like?

Do I need a visa?

Most nationalities can enter Malaysia visa-free for up to 90 days. Please check with your local embassy to confirm.
